Hookly is an AI-powered content generation tool that helps creators (influencers, marketers, businesses) generate viral hooks, scripts, captions and hashtags for short-form video platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn).
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you're using it on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You agree NOT to use Hookly to:
Hookly offers Free and paid (Pro, Agency) plans. Paid plans are billed monthly via our payment processor (Stripe). You can cancel anytime — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Prices are in USD and may be subject to local taxes.
The Service, its design, code, and branding are owned by Hookly. You retain 100% ownership of any content you generate. You can use generated hooks, scripts, captions, and hashtags for any commercial purpose, including videos you monetize.
Hookly is a content-generation tool. We do not guarantee that content generated will go viral, generate views, engagement, or revenue. Viral success depends on many factors outside our control (content quality, audience, timing, platform algorithms, etc.).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hookly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

When you use your own OpenAI or Groq API key, your prompts (niche, topic, tone) are sent directly from your browser to those providers. Their privacy policies apply:

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any data we hold about you. Since we collect virtually nothing by default, there's usually nothing to delete. If you have a Pro account, contact us and we'll handle your request within 30 days.

AI-generated content may contain errors, outdated information, or inappropriate suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and editing content before publishing it.
We believe in transparency. When AI is used to generate your content, we show a small badge indicating which engine produced it (Groq, OpenAI, or our template engine).
Some platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) have policies about AI-generated content disclosure. You are responsible for complying with each platform's terms and for disclosing AI use where required.
You own the content you generate with Hookly. We make no claim of ownership. However, we do not guarantee that AI output is free of third-party copyright claims.
